How to Fry?
- Take a bowl and add the bater to it. If the consistency is too liquid, we can add a little rice flour to the batter and get the consistency.
- now slowly add the chopped onions, green chilies, curry leaves, coriander and ginger (optional) and mix well. Make sure that the lumps are not formed.
- Now add jeera and salt to the mixed batter and mix them well. You can add a pinch of baking soda to make them crispy. If you prefer them soft, you need not add the baking soda.
- Take a wok or kadai and pour oil into it. Bring it to heat. Once the oil is ready to take some batter and slowly add spoon full of batter into the kadai and let them fry. If not with spoon you can take some batter with the tip of your fingers and add it in the oil which gives them round shapes.
- Fry them until they are golden brown in colour and then put them in basket with holes or on a tissue and drain out the oil.
- Server them hot with a few chopped onion pieces and tomato chutney or any chutney of your choice.
